My name
is Jenny and I run Stepping Stones here at Church of Christ the
King, with the help of other mum’s from the church.
Our aim is to befriend our local community, giving young parents
and carer’s a safe and happy environment for themselves and
their children; a place to meet with other adults and for children
to learn early social skills.
We started in November 2003 and have grown somewhat. Due to
varying numbers, we do, occasionally, operate a waiting list system,
so please contact me to see what the situation is at the moment.
You can do this by simply giving me a phone
call at the church office.
We’re a self-funding, non-profit making group and so have
to charge £1 per family per week. However, this
is put straight back into the group, paying for refreshments, arts
and crafts, as well as a birthday and Christmas treat for your child.

All our children’s work is run in
accordance with our Child Protection Policy which has been agreed
with Greenwich Council. As part of that process all our children’s
workers have Criminal Records Checks & undergo training. |
