Each church member is in a small group, which comprises of
8-15
people meeting weekly in homes. The small group meets for worship,
teaching,
prayer and fellowship. This community is the lifeblood of the
church.
Our vision for these groups
To provide a caring environment where people are encouraged to grow
in the following areas; whilst helping to share the good news of
Jesus with their family, friends and neighbours.
1. the knowledge of God
2. in character
3. in gifting
Hence it is not about a once a week
meeting, but a local community working out our Christianity together.
Because
our vision is to reach different areas apart from Plumstead,
we have groups in Abbey Wood, and Welling as well as throughout
Plumstead,
and are looking to start groups in other areas such as Thamesmead
and Shooters Hill.
